We look forward to seeing all of you in Haymarket, on Saturday. The WX projection is for a sunny day with the high of 65. It would help us make plans for food, set up, and seating accommodations, if we could have a good projection on attendees. I see who has already replied to this thread and also have info from Nick, Tarcan, and Jim Graham ... Thank you!
If you plan to attend, please RSVP, by noon on Thursday, 14 Oct, so we can get a good head count. A quick reply to this thread with # of adults, children, and if you are planning to bring a dish (what it is); will be most helpful.
See you on Saturday!

I'm planning to attend. I'm happy to stop by Trader Joe's and get something. What do we need?

We'll have "Arroz con Pollo." This is a yellow Rice with Chicken. If Bob would like to bring a salad that is great. The salad will complement the Kobobs, the "Arroz con Pollo," plus go with anything else we may put on the grill.

What, no beans to go with the rice?

Bob you must be thinking of "Arroz con Frijoles" made with white rice and black beans. or "Congre" which is the white rice and the black beans cooked together. Both are standard in Cuban cuisine along with Arroz con Pollo.
