I live in Urbana and am starting work on my new 18x40 fishroom. I have had a few tanks all my life but this will be a much different undertaking. I was able to get a large supply of tanks via Aquabid from someone leaving the hobby which helps with the expenditures.

At my first meeting I learned about daphnia and started raising those this summer and my fish love them. I hope to learn more by getting to more meetings.

I did get them from a guy in PG county, but it was in July. They are still waiting on the room to be vacated and the plumbing for the filtration. I got one of the older MARS systems as well as 3 really cool 8' acrylics that are subdivided into either 4 or 8 compartments via a slide out divider. I wish I could find more of these but apparently the company that made them is no longer in business.

Ok...must be a different person... I can't find the email I had to this guy, and really wanted all his smaller tanks...
oh well... there will be more out there I'm sure...
good luck with your system..... maybe you can take a few pics to share with everyone as your putting it together..
I am in the planning stages myself... found out the basic bench or shelving units aren't doing what I wanted so now I have to take a moment and re-think my ideas of how many tanks/fish I really can handle...
