I just wanted to thank everyone at CAKC for the warm welcome and fantastic hospitality at today's club meeting. I thoroughly enjoyed your meeting today! The food was great, I was happy to see eight PVAS members in the room, and I enjoyed getting to know the CAKC people, and learn a little about the fish you keep.

As for me, I'm the Prez of the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society. I have kept fish on and off for my entire life. I have a 2000 gallon fish pond outside, a fish room with 27 tanks ranging from 2.5 to 75 gallons -- a total of 370 gallons of water. I have plans to re-build my fish room and will have approximately 600 gallons when it's fully built out.

I breed guppies, mollies, swordtails, platties, blue gouramis, and goldfish. I also keep fresh water puffers, a variety of cory catfish, electric blue crayfish, cherry shrimp, neon tetras, an ornery convict cichlid, angelfish, and the occasional killifish (gardneri and orange australe....).... I always say that I like pretty fish.

Anyway, thanks for a wonderful meeting today. I had a blast!

Sherry: I consider myself to be a newbie,, only been in this club a year myself, but I must say, that we are a fun lot of fish folks, and most willing to share knowledge and killie stuff. Now I have a reason to try to get to another meeting (first Sat of month right?) I leave from every meeting with an overload of info.... but it's great and makes me keep on coming back....
ps.. thanks for the guppygrass!!!
